Nra Easy Pay Life Membership Pause Payment
- ARCHIVED
Posted: 10/12/2008 5:14:38 AM EDT Hopefully they still do it this way. When I got my Life membership, I did it through what they called, at the time, the EPL(Easy Pay Life) program. They send you a bill every three months for $25.00 untill the balance is paid off. I couldn't have done it any other way at the time. If it's different now, someone please chime in. Anyway, for those who can't afford a life membership all at once, this may be the ticket for you. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 5:20:47 AM EDT [#1] This looks very enticing to me, as I am only and associate member and would really like to upgrade. |

Posted: 10/12/2008 6:19:59 AM EDT [#12] EPL is how I got my Life membership. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 6:23:43 AM EDT [#13] Not only do they still offer it (I did my Life Membership the same way); but I THINK* you get the benefits of a Life Membership immediately (you get to vote on Directors, etc.) while you are paying it off. *I had already been an annual member for five years when I joined as a Life Member, so it could be that they just kept sending me ballots since I was past five. |

Posted: 10/12/2008 7:58:07 AM EDT [#15] That's how I got mine. It was $750 three years ago, and it's $1K now. The sooner you get in the better. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 8:05:37 AM EDT [#16] 1k ouch!!!! I'd like to do this but 1k is a lot. I pay for me and my younger brother every year. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 8:16:40 AM EDT [#17] Sign up now, it ain't gettin any cheaper. Seriously, you probably won't miss the $25 quarterly. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 8:18:17 AM EDT [#18] Once in a while, NRA runs it's "Legacy" program where you can get sponsored by a current Life member for a $300.00 Life membership. I got one and then I sponsored both of my kids for a grand total of $900 for all of us. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 8:20:15 AM EDT [#19] Quoted: Anyone want to sponsor me? I'll pay for my little bro and myself. I've been a member for 5 years. |

Posted: 10/12/2008 10:58:36 AM EDT [#23] It is a good option. It's how I got my Life Membership. I think it was $500 when I did it though. Also, you can send in that $25 each month if you don't want to take years to finish it. That's what I did. And they sure didn't object or fuss about it either. |
Posted: 10/12/2008 3:03:58 PM EDT [#24] EPL is how I paid for my Life Membership, $750 total at the time. I remember starting the first payment immediately after watching the House of Represenatives pass the AWB in 1994. Steve |
